Grannies On The Road

RVing across America. One small town, beach, park, mountain, flea market, BBQ joint, soda shop, junk shop and diner, at a time.

The Pinellas Trail:

It use to be a railroad line until the 1980’s. It runs from Tarpon Springs to St. Petersburg and it’s a little over 38 miles with plans on extending it another 9 miles. It’s used for biking, jogging, walking and even skating.

It was beautiful this morning, so I rode my bike from the campground all the way to Dunedin. Walked around town for a while, then rode back to Publix grocery store to have lunch.

Back at the RV I cranked up the AC, got cleaned up and took a nap.

That was about the extent of my first full day.

Stay tuned for day 4. I’ll be driving up to Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks.
